I'm getting old!
The reason behind the title...my little brother is a Senior in high school this year! I can't believe my little brother is growing up! It seems like just yesterday they brought him home from the hospital! They had their orientation party on Aug. 6 & started school on Aug. 9. He is playing football this year as well as baseball. Good luck Dustin & we hope you have a great senior year! We love you!

18 Month Check up
I'm slowly catching up! Better late than never I guess.
Natalee had her 18 month check up on July 7th. Her appointment was at 1:40. We got there at 1:30 & didn't get in a room until about 3:45! Natalee weighed 19 lbs. 7 oz. and I didn't get her length. Dr. Boldon is a little concerned about her weight, but I personally think she is fine. She eats constantly and just started drinking milk about 2 months ago, so I know she is not starving. She just has a high metabolism & is always on the go! He was impressed with her rather extensive vocabulary though & said she was right on track with everything else. I just need to take her in for a weight check within the next couple of days, just to be sure she's getting the proper nutrition. She did have to get 2 shots, which she, nor I, liked.

Chuck E Cheese & Earrings
When we left the Buffalo Park, we decided to take Natalee to Chuck E Cheese for the first time. We ordered our pizza & drinks & while we waited, we let Natalee play. Her favorite part was riding the pink jeep. That's all she wanted to do!
She also liked the Bob the Builder bulldozer & the tractor.
She "helped" daddy play some games & win her some tickets.
We played for over 2 hours & ended up with over 500 tickets. Natalee got a ball, a Chuck E Cheese cup, a bracelet, a ring, a balloon, & cotton candy. She had a blast & wore herself out!
We then headed to the mall. Natalee & Terry rode the carousel. I, of course, forgot my camera, but I did get a pic with Terry's phone, however, he hasn't uploaded to Facebook yet, so I don't have it on my computer. At first Natalee didn't like it, but after they got off, she wanted to go again. We walked around the mall for a while. I bought Natalee an outfit & pair of shoes from The Children's Place, but that was it...well, until we decided to get her ears pierced! Natalee had been pointing at her ears, saying "eawing" for a while. I asked her, which I know she does not know what it consists of, if she wanted her ears pierced so she could wear earrings like mommy. She said "es mam". We contemplated it for a while & finally decided to do it. She immediately started crying as soon as the lady put the marker on her ear. Of course she was also tired, so this didn't help the situation any. She cried for a total of maybe 5 minutes & was totally fine as soon as she got a sucker & we stepped out of the store. Shortly after we got in the car, she was sound asleep.
This was after her nap & tator tots. She sure was happy about something.
