SNOW!!!! (WARNING: Picture Overload)

Sunday, around noon, it started snowing. It was the biggest flakes I have ever seen! It snowed for about 1 - 1.5 hours & covered the ground pretty good.

She was tired! Decided to curl up with Katie & relax! She loves this dog!

It quit for a little while, but started back just after dark. This time it didn't stop til after midnight!



When we woke up Monday morning we had anywhere from 2 to 4.5 inches, just depending on where you measured! This is the most this part of Mississippi has had since 1999! The roads were iced over so I wasn't able to make it to work on Monday. Too bad! I wanted to enjoy the snow too!

When Natalee got up all she would say is "Mama, snow! I wanna have some." Around 11:00 we bundled up really good & went to play! She loved it! She kept saying, "I wanna build Toffee the Snowman". So we did. We built "Toffee" the Snowman! She loved trying to roll the balls up. She kept making snowballs & throwing them. We heard Brandi, Byron, Ryan & Katie Lauren coming up through the woods so she had to stop until they got there. We finished "Toffee" then just enjoyed playing. I looked up one time & Katie Lauren was making a snow angel. Natalee was laying right beside her, copying her! It was too cute! Brandi, Byron, Terry, Ryan & Katie Lauren decided to have a snowball fight! I tried to get pics & a video but I was too late. Ryan & Terry

Ryan & Terry made a big snowman out back. The reason they made this snowman was so Terry could run over it with the 4wheeler. I got that on video & I'm gonna try to post it later. A little while later mom, Callaway, Dustin & Debbie came over. They brought Dustin's knee board. We put it behind the 4 wheeler & had us a sled! Everyone took turns & had so much fun!! Natalee loved it! She got mad everytime someone else got on! She kept saying "One more time". Don't worry Terry didn't go fast & she didn't ride alone!

Happy New Year!

What a year so far! On New Year's Eve, Terry & I went to eat at Lusco's for our anniversary. This was the first time either one of us had ever been & it was wonderful! Definitely well worth the money! We then headed to the Walker's to ring in the New Year! They had a spread of finger foods. We shot fireworks...well the guys shot fireworks. They shot them toward the house, threw some in the house (luckily they had already went off before they came in), and they also threw some in the fire pit! We all had so much fun. It started raining so we all gathered inside to play a game of Catch Phrase.

On Jan. 1, mom cooked the traditional New Year's meal. Deadra, William & Morgan were here to celebrate the new year with us. We played a game of Rummikub & a game of Apples to Apples. Apples to Apples is a hilariously addicting game...especially if you have people that try to be funny with it instead of serious.

It was back to work that Monday for the first full week in about 3 weeks. On the 7th, the Mitchell's came to get Natalee. Terry was a work & I had the house to myself that Friday night & all day Saturday! I LOVE me time! I spent the time cleaning & getting the house back in order from all the holiday mess. Too bad it didn't stay clean very long!

Our Newest Addition

Meet Belle.



She is the newest addition to our family. She is a Peekapoo puppy weighing only 1 lb. 3 oz. She was a late birthday/Christmas present for Natalee from daddy & Irene. We have had her a week now. We love her! Natalee really loves her! She carries her around everywhere. She has even been known to put her in her shopping cart & push her around. These two are something else!



She even fits in the toy dog carrier Natalee got for her birthday!





Natalee & I rode with daddy & Irene last Monday night to go pick her up. The place we got her from had 3 peekapoos, 3 schnauzers & 3 daschunds. We really liked Belle & the gray/silver schnauzer. I had a hard time deciding, so we let Natalee pick the one she wanted. I think she chose Belle because she is so little & she can carry her around. Her choice was fine with me & her daddy fell in love with her too the first time he saw her!
