April

On April 14, Brandi hosted a baby shower for us. It was actually a diapers & wipes shower since this was our second girl & we still had everything from Natalee. Not many people showed up but it was all good.  She served sausage balls, pizza dip, sandwiches, cake batter dip, cupcakes & punch.

April 21, the Walker's had their annual crawfish boil.  We got there about 3.  Terry helped Michael & the rest of the guys cook & I sat back & waited on the other women to get there!  They had 150 lbs. of crawfish! Along with the crawfish, they cooked corn, potatoes, mushrooms & sausage in the crab boil.  Terry & I do not eat crawfish, but the corn, potatoes & sausage were soooo good!  I had been craving the corn & potatoes for a while, so that settled my craving...for a couple of weeks anyway! Sorry, I forgot my camera so I don't have any pics!

The rest of the month I was getting everything ready for baby. Natalee decided she wanted her bumbo back...

Here is the hairbow holder I made:

She has more bows than this, they just weren't on here when I took the pic!

Below are pictures of Sadie Grace's nursery. For some reason I don't have a picture of the crib though!

Easter

The weekend before Easter, we went to Stewart to celebrate the holiday with the Mitchell's. We went to church & ate afterwards. We then headed to their house. We relaxed & visited for a little while. Roger & Terry hid eggs for Natalee. She had so much fun!

Huntin' Eggs

Saturday before Easter, we went to mom's to dye eggs. The Clark's decided to come over and dye eggs with us. Natalee loved to dye eggs! But she wanted to drop the egg in the dye then pick it right back up! We had some really pretty eggs.

The next morning, we got up to see what the Easter Bunny brought.  Natalee was so excited!

The Easter Bunny came!

We then got up and got dressed for the day.  We went to mom's around lunch to finish getting supper started.  About 2, mom, Natalee & I headed to Randy & Dianna's so Natalee could hunt eggs with a big group of kids. There was about 5-6 kids this year, unlike last year where there were about 10-12. Natalee found about 25 eggs, 3 of which contained money! They hand out gifts to all the kids that participated.  Natalee got a thing of bubbles & a bug catching kit.

Finding Eggs

Again

After we left the Clark's we went back to mom's.  We waited on everyone to get there then we ate supper, which consisted of ham, sweet potatoes, green beans & rolls, plus dessert.  After supper, we hid eggs for Natalee & Katie Lauren.  Natalee got the Queen Egg.  It had $4.50 in quarters.  She sure did rack up on the money!

Before supper, Terry rode Natalee on the go-kart. It was her first time to ride and she loved it! In fact, she loved it so much that she got mad when anyone else got on & didn't take her riding! I didn't get any pictures then, but I did manage to get a few of her riding with Uncle Dustin.

Not much went on during the month of March, but here are some pics to enjoy!

This turtle showed up at the house.  The dog kept barking & barking & come to find out this is what she was barking at.  This was just the first of three Alligator Snapping Turtles that has shown up!

Children's Museum

I started this post a while ago, but I am just now getting a chance to finish it.  I decided to just do a short explanation & pictures instead of doing a really long post about each thing we did.

Terry & I took Natalee to the Mississippi Children's Museum a couple of weeks ago.  It was a first for all of us & it was so much fun!  Definitely worth the $8 a piece to get in!  They have so much stuff for the kids to do!  They have five basic themes that provide the content base for the museum exhibits: Mississippi Heritage in the Exploring Mississippi Gallery, Literacy in the Wild About Reading Gallery, Health & Nutrition in the Healthy Fun Gallery, The Arts in the Express Yourself Gallery, and Mississippi Industry in the World At Work Gallery.

After the MCM, we decided to treat Natalee to a Gigi's cupcake.  OMG!  They are to die for!

This is the Birthday Surprise.  Delish!

Afterwards, we went by Babies R Us to pick up a few things for the baby.  On the way out, we stopped by Applebee's in Madison, then headed home.  Except for the rain, all in all, it was a wonderful day!
