Just an Update...

I know it's been a while! We haven't done anything out of the ordinary lately so I really didn't see the need to post. Just wanted to write a little something today. We did hang out with some friends over the weekend. We went to Katie & Micheal's Friday night & ate & played games. I have figured out though that Terry does not need to hang out with Matthew very often! Get those two together & things get crazy! Saturday we went to Winona to Chelsea's to a cookout. A friend of their's had a stroke several months ago while overseas. He is back home, so we had a cookout for him.

I finally had my crown done Tuesday! That was the nicest dentist office I have ever been in! It is so clean & neat & everyone was so friendly! The dentist, himself, is crazy! Not crazy-crazy, but funny-crazy! Now I think I have carpel tunnel in my left wrist!! It started hurting during my pregnancy. It stopped for the longest after Natalee was born, but started hurting again a couple of weeks ago. I really need to make an appointment to see the doc....I'll put that on my to do list!

Natalee had a check up from her last ear infection yesterday. She had NO ear infections!! I thought she was getting one because she kept pulling at her ear, but it turns out it's part of her teething! She now weighs 14 lbs. 9 oz, which means she has gained 1 lb 3 oz in exactly a month! She is getting so big! She can now wear some 3-6 month clothes & is still in a few 0-3 month clothes, not too many though!

Well we are taking Natalee on her first "road trip", "mini-vacay"...whatever you would like to call it, this weekend. We will be going to Arkansas with my grandmother, mom, Callaway & Dustin to visit with my grandmother's brother. Uncle Richard owns a peach orchard in Conway. I'll post when we get back to let you know how everything was!

Whew, What a Weekend!

This has been a crazy, lazy weekend! Friday night, Terry & I went to Starkville for a "Date Night". We ate at Applebee's then went to see Transformers 2. Natalee stayed at the Mitchell's. They had so much fun watching her play & laugh! We spent the night with them when we got back cause it was so late. Saturday morning we got up & ate breakfast. We left there around 10 cause we had a lot of stuff to do around the house...needless to say we didn't get any of it done! Instead, we dressed Natalee in her swimsuit & got out her little pool. She had so much fun!! She loves water!






Today we got up, went to church & we are finally doing some housework! Here is a pic of Natalee in her new dress Aunt BB bought her!


Now for the good news!! Natalee can finally sit up on her own for a long period of time & she loves to play that way. She has also said her first word! Betcha can't guess what it was? DaDa of course! Terry is just "tickled pink"! And the best part...Natalee has a tooth, actually TWO teeth. I noticed one coming through Thursday night. It has barely broken the skin but it's there! Well it has come up more since then. A few minutes ago, I was feeling around & the one right beside it has broken through too!! I was going to upload a video of Natalee jumping in her jumperoo, but it won't upload. I'll try to get it to soon.

Mirrors! Natalee just loves mirrors! When she gets close to a mirror, she has to "give the baby sugars"! It is just too cute!

Happy 4th!

Yes, I'm getting bad about not posting everyday, but I'll try to get better! I hope everyone had a Happy & Safe 4th! I know we had a good weekend. We celebrated with Mr. Roger & Mrs. Delma last Tuesday since we were gonna be gone over the weekend. They came to our house & we grilled some chicken. We also had baked beans, ranch potatoes, Italian bread & oreo cheesecake for dessert. Mrs. Delma fed Natalee her supper & helped give her a bath & put her to bed before they left. I know she loved that! They always love their visits with Natalee! Carol & Madison came to visit Friday, so Brandi & Natalee met them in Greenwood for lunch & to do a little shopping Friday afternoon. I got a little housework done before I had to go to moms. Since Deadra & William were here, we cooked out Friday night & visited. Saturday morning, when Terry got home from work, we loaded up the truck & went to Grenada. We met Jenn, Mike & Owen for breakfast then went to their place in Gore Springs to drop off our stuff, since we were staying the night with them. My family was at the lake so we decided to ride up & see what they were up to. Deadra & William had their ski boat, so Owen went out on the lake with the kids as soon as we got there. While we were waiting on him to get back, we just sat around & talked. We decided to eat with them since it was a big group of people. We had burgers, ribs, smoked sausage, cream cheese & jalapeno stuffed sausage, shish-ka-bobs, baked beans, chips & dips, and so much more! For dessert, we had homemade vanilla ice cream, homemade oreo ice cream, brownies, chess squares, rice krispie treats, & cupcakes. Needless to say we had leftovers for days! We went back to Gore Springs & shot fireworks, well Mike & Terry shot fireworks. Me, Jenn, Owen, Natalee & Ryan just watched! To our suprise, Natalee LOVED the fireworks! She never made a noise & stared at the pretty colors! Sunday morning we got up, cooked breakfast & were on our way. We had a family reunion to go to so we didn't get to spend the day with the Ponder's. But we will get together another weekend & spend the whole weekend at the "Lake House".
