As I said last week, last Friday was Senior Night at Carroll. Mom & I left work early so we could go to the pep rally. It was so sad knowing my brother is growing up. He had Ashley B. as a secret cheerleader and she had Dustin. The poems they wrote for each other were so cute! Dustin got her a basket full of goodies, including candy, a ring, a necklace, a picture frame, a candle...and I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but he did good at picking things out! She got him a bucket of candy (he has candy for days!), a polo hat, Polo Blue cologne & a couple of other things Dustin likes.
Before the game that night, all of the senior dancers, cheerleaders & football players were recognized. I don't have my pictures, because, well, ever since football season began...I'm not allowed to use my camera unless my mother doesn't need it. No, but seriously, she does have it, so I haven't uploaded my pictures yet, but I will get them on here soon! Promise! Anyways, about the game....they played a great game, but they did not win. The needed to win this game by 8 points in order to go to playoffs. We lost by 8 points.

Trip to LA
No, not Los Angeles...Louisiana! Madison turned 2 on Sept. 15. Natalee, Terry, mom, Brandi, & I took a trip to Louisiana on Sept. 17 & 18 to help her celebrate. Her party was at Rockin R Ranch in Monroe. They had hay rides, horse rides, petting zoo and everything for the party. All Carol had to do was provide the birthday girl! Madison got lots of nice gifts, more clothes than toys. The party was great! Terry, Natalee & I came back home that Saturday while mom, Brandi & Joyce stayed til Sunday. On the way home, we decided to come back through Vicksburg instead of Greenville. I am glad we did! We stopped at the Carter's outlet & I got Natalee $250 worth of clothes for $100! Some will be birthday gifts & some will be Christmas gifts, so you will see pics of them later! Again...Happy 2nd Birthday Madison! We love you!
Happy Birthday Granny!

Happy Birthday Nana!
Today is my mom's birthday. She would probably kill me if I told you how old she is so I'll just leave it up for you to guess... We celebrated last night with bbq sandwiches & Mandarin Orange cake.
Happy Birthday! We love you!
Apparently I have NO pictures of Nana & Natalee so I, unfortunately, won't be able to post any...sorry!

Doctor Visit
Natalee was sick back at the end of September. I took her to the doc & luckily she just had an upper respiratory infection. The doctor was excited that she had gained some weight! She finally weighs over 20lbs! She was 20lbs. 4oz. to be exact! She got some meds & was better within days! Hopefully she won't need to go back before her 2 year check up!

Rebel Football
No I am not talking about Ole Miss...which are now known as the Black Bears. I am talking about Carroll Academy!! Dustin was not going to play football this year, but the baseball coach talked him into it. I am kinda glad he did considering this is his senior year. Dustin has not played since 9th grade and you would have thought he was a bit "rusty". Nope! Wrong! He is great! He has started every game and was a captain twice this year! We missed the first football game because we were with Yogi Bear. And that was the only game, besides the game on Oct. 8 that we have missed. Their first game was against Winona Christian. They lost but I heard it was a good game. The following week they played Sharkey Issaquena Academy. They won!!! They were super excited! Next, they played Immanuel Christian School. They won that one too! (Sorry, but I can't remember any of the scores!) The next week was a conference game at home against Winston. They lost that one. :( The next week was an open week so they had a slight break. Next up was Oak Hill Academy. The boys didn't play so hot at the beginning of the game, but during the end of the 3rd quarter & all of the 4th quarter it started heating up. In all my 14 years to be at that school I had never seen the crowd get so excited about a game! The boys were down a good bit...like at least 20+ points. They came back & lost by on 4 points!!! The final score was 45-41! Even though they lost, they were so excited about how good they played! The next week was Homecoming! Congratulations to Kacie McCluskey who won Homecoming Queen! All of the girls & their escorts looked gorgeous! The guys played great & we won the game! We had Terry's class reunion the next week, so we were unable to go to the game. They played Hebron Christian & they won! Last week, we played Humphreys Academy. Within the 1st quarter, Carroll was up 35-0! Of course, we came out with the win! The final score was 42-6! This week we have Senior Night. Tomorrow will be a sad day. Mom & I are going to the Senior pep rally tomorrow at 2. Tomorrow night, mom & Callaway will walk out on the field with Dustin. I am sure we will all be sad, as this will be the last football game Dustin will play on CA field. I will update this weekend or next week with the results of that game!
Here are just a few pictures. I have hundreds more, but I'll just give you a teaser for now....
This would be my little brother! His # is 65.

Jellystone Park
Terry, Natalee & I went on a mini vacay with The Mitchell's the weekend of August 20-22. We went to see Yogi Bear at Jellystone Park in Pelahatchie, MS. We rented a really nice cabin for the two nights. It had 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a loft & a deck on the back. It was perfect for the 5 of us. After we got settled Friday, we changed & went to the splash pad. It was perfect for Natalee. They had a couple of slides, a water tower that dumped water, a couple of "jungle gym" type things. They also had a pool beside it. Natalee loved the slide. She didn't care for the tower so much, especially since it made a loud sound right before it dumped the water, which was every 10 minutes. We played around in the water for about an hour. Then went to the playground for a few minutes. We decided to head back to the cabin to eat & change clothes so we could go to the outdoor movie theater. They were playing Cars that night. Natalee last all of about 10-15 minutes, so we decided to just go back to the cabin. The next morning when we woke up, Terry & Mr. Roger had gone to the "Ranger's Station". They came back with a surprise for Natalee....a golf cart. She loves to ride the golf cart & they decided that so we wouldn't have to load up in the truck every time we wanted to go somewhere, they would just rent one. Saturday, we went to meet Yogi Bear. He was at the flag pole every morning about 9:30. Natalee didn't like him. She kept saying "He care (scare) me". I did manage to get a picture of me & Natalee with Yogi, but she is looking the other way. After that, we went to the arts & crafts building. We made Natalee a sheriff's badge, which was the free craft for the day. We also colored her a t-shirt. She wanted to help, but I didn't want her to mess it up, so Terry & I did it for her. After that, we went to the cafe & ate lunch. We got a pizza which was really really good & some nachos. We then decided to head back & change clothes so we could go to the splash pad. First we went to the penny hunt on the beach. The employees through pennies in certain areas of the sand. This was just for toddlers, so there were not very many people there. Natalee found about 15 cents. She cashed them in & got a toy & some candy. We played in the water for several hours. Terry & I decided to go riding around the campground on the golf cart. When we came back, Natalee, Mr. Roger & Mrs. Delma were no where to be found. They were out back of the cafe enjoying a big bowl of ice cream!! Terry & I got some too! We played for a little while longer. We decided about 4:00 to head back to the cabin. They had a costume contest in the arts & crafts building and since it was "Western Weekend", you were to dress in your best cowboy/cowgirl clothes. Luckily, I went prepared as I did not know anything about this until we got there Friday & was given an agenda of what was going on over the weekend. I had Natalee dressed in her Wrangler jeans, her pink western belt with her name on it, her boots, her cowgirl hat & a cute little shirt. Natalee was the only one to participate besides a little boy, so they both won prizes! They got a toy trophy & a small toy. We then went on a hayride around the campground. Natalee was so tired! She fell asleep while riding! When we got back to the cabin, she was wide awake! We fixed us some hamburgers & watched a little tv. We were all wore out, but still decided to go for a little ride. It was the perfect night. It wasn't too hot & there were hardly in bugs out. Sunday morning, we got up & got to packing. After we checked out, we decided to go to the zoo on our way home. There was not very many people there so it wasn't too bad, except for the heat! We saw the new addition they added and the elephants one last time before they were moved to Nashville. All in all we had a great weekend. Can't wait to go back for more Yogi time!
(Pictures will be posted later today or sometime this weekend! They are not on this computer at work...sorry).

Catching Up!
Okay guys, I know it has been a while, but things have been hectic around here lately. Work is where it is really stressful. Since I am now the only one in my office to get everything caught up, I don't have time for much else, & by the time I get home, I don't want to do anything but play Natalee. Which is one reason the house is a wreck & I couldn't tell you the last time I cooked a good balanced meal. I am going to try to remember to the best of my knowledge everything that has gone on in the last 2 months & update in different posts. Stay tuned!
