Just wanted to update about other stuff that has been happening. Friday I took the day off. Terry & I took Natalee to Grenada. We stopped by Wal-Mart & Terry bought me a new laptop. We have one that we share & he takes it to work with him when he goes so that leaves me without a computer at the house. Actually, I have a Mac I got from work when we upgraded our computers, but it's in Natalee's playroom & not plugged up at the moment. We have to get a telephone line run to the playroom so we can have internet access, but now I can use the laptop for Internet purposes & for all of our pictures & use the Mac for "work" purposes, like designing business cards & different types of invitations at home. Anyways...back to the story...we ate at McDonald's, then took Natalee to the park. As soon as she saw the swings, she started running towards them saying "sing, sing". When we started pushing her she says "weeeee". It was so cute! We played for about 45 minutes then Natalee started getting tired. We hadn't been on the way home 5 minutes & she was out! Saturday we just laid around the house & hung out.
Natalee is starting to say more & more words. I know she has said at least 5 new ones over the weekend. She has a rather extensive vocabulary for a 15 month old...at least I think she does. Her favorite words to say are "Mama", "Daddeeeee", "Papaw", "Katieeeee" (mom's dog), "Memy" (our dog Remy), "Money" (monkey), "Melmo" (Elmo). She can also say please (peas), thank you (dankoo), bunny, dog, puppy (poppy), cookie, juice, drink, bite, hotdog (otdog), mamaw, BB, DD, bye, hey, eye, shoe (sue), ball, egg, Mimi, cheese, tea...I'm sure I'm forgetting something. She can also say Nana but won't. She would rather call her Mamaw!
Natalee is learning new things everyday. She can show you where her nose, eyes, ears & tongue are. She also knows where her toes are. I try to work with her everyday on something new until she gets it...however I think she is learning more at daycare than from me, which is kind of sad to say...but at least she's learning! Right now I'm trying to teach her her numbers. So far...nothing. I'll update more as it happens.
Here are some more pics to enjoy!
